https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
IMPORTANT! Please read these Terms of Use carefully and in their entirety before using the value-added service (as defined below).
These Terms of Use are a legally binding agreement between each user (you or your) and CloudEdge (we, us or our). If you do not agree to any of these terms, you should stop accessing or using the value-added service.
These Terms of Use are effective as of January 1, 2022.
1. Content of the Service and Instructions for Use
1.1. The Cloud Storage Service (Service) is a value-added service for the smart camera device that you must subscribe to via the app. Once one of the service plans is activated, the device automatically begins uploading video and/or audio recordings (your data) it has captured.
We undertake to store your data only for the limited time described in the cloud storage service plan (Plan) you have chosen and may permanently delete your data after the expiry of your recording period (30 days). You can access, download, or delete your data via the app during the subscription period. We acknowledge that you own the rights to your data and that nothing in these terms aims to grant us any ownership rights in relation to your data.
1.2. Depending on the actual situation (e.g., different countries or regions), the plan we offer may vary for you. You can activate the plan with a one-time payment (manual renewal required), depending on the current plan list you see in the app. The monthly rate has a minimum term of 30 days, the annual rate has a
minimum term of 365 days. Once the selected plan is activated, we will continue to provide the service to you until it expires or is terminated at your request.
1.3 The device allows you to determine the purpose and means by which you collect video and audio data. If you activate your camera's cloud storage service via subscription, we can
record and process your data, depending on your instructions, subscription, configuration, and settings.
1.4. You acknowledge that your data is intended solely as an aid to assist you in personal monitoring and security of your property. Your data may not capture every incident or security breach or security violations or related incidents at the location where the device is connected, and therefore should be used in conjunction with
other appropriate measures for personal monitoring and protecting the security of your property and your safety.
1.5. You acknowledge that there are many things beyond our control that can affect the
recording, live streaming, and storage of your data, as well as your ability to access your data via the service. We do not guarantee that your access to the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. In the unlikely event that any data is lost or corrupted, making it inaccessible, we will take reasonable steps to repair or restore your data free of charge.
It is your responsibility to take all appropriate measures to minimize any loss or damage that may arise from an interruption, failure, or disruption of the service, including ensuring that your equipment necessary to record and transmit your data to the service is operational and functional at all times.
1.6. You acknowledge that the service should only be used for the purpose of maintaining the security of your own property.
security of your own property, and that you are responsible for any abnormal use that constitutes an unreasonable violation of an individual's privacy (e.g., by placing it in restrooms).
2. Fees and Payment
2.1. When you activate a plan, you will be asked to provide the necessary payment information, such as an approved credit or debit card (payment instrument), to make the payment. Note that we do not store the payment instrument, but a third party (e.g., PayPal) who provides the payment method. By providing your payment instrument,
you authorize us to charge your payment instrument with all fees or costs in accordance with your plan (Fees).
2.2. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment instrument details are accurate and up to date, e.g., if you change to a different payment instrument or your payment instrument has expired.
2.3 The cloud storage service is a virtual product. It does not support refunds after purchase. It supports transferring this service to other devices. For operation, contact customer service.
3. Termination and Suspension
If you want to cancel your Cloud Service, it depends on which payment method you used to book the Cloud Service:
Apple Pay:
- If you used Apple Pay as a payment method, go to your profile in the Play Store. Now go to the Subscriptions section, and there you can find and cancel the booked service!
Google Pay:
- If you used Google Pay as a payment method, go to your profile in the Store. Now go to the Payments & Subscriptions section and then to Subscriptions. There you can find and cancel the booked service!
PayPal:
- If PayPal was your preferred payment method, then you must cancel your subscription in your PayPal account! We advise using the browser and not the PayPal app for this. You can find more information in the official PayPal link:
Credit Card
- Credit card payment is made via a PayPal mask, but subscription management does not take place in your PayPal account. This is only the case if you book directly via PayPal and the credit card is stored as a payment method in PayPal. If you pay for the booking via credit card using the PayPal mask, then the subscription must be canceled with your credit card provider or in your credit card's customer account!
4. Changes to Terms
4.1. We may amend these terms from time to time by publishing the amended terms through updates to the service website and drawing your attention to such amendments the next time you open this page.
4.2. If we make changes:
(a) changes to these terms that do not affect your rights will apply from the time you continue to use the app;
(b) reasonable changes to these terms that alter your rights will apply 7 calendar days
days after you have been informed of such changes in accordance with clause 4.1; and
(c) other material changes to these terms that alter your rights and could cause you significant disadvantage.
(c) other material changes to these terms that alter your rights and could cause you significant disadvantage will apply from the next billing date if you are registered for a subscription.
